SquadClock covers a match from planning to recap: fixtures, starting line-up, live clock, goals, cards, substitutions with played minutes, squad management, fair team balancing, tournaments and history. The overview below describes every feature and shows what is free and what belongs to Premium.
You create a match with opponent, venue, kick-off time and the number of periods. The overview shows upcoming and today's fixtures; older matches move to the history automatically so the list stays short on match day.
You can store the starting line-up for a planned match in advance. On match day a single tap takes you straight into the live view.

Before kick-off you pick the starters from your squad and mark the goalkeeper. All other active players start on the bench and are ready in the substitution dialog.
With Premium you can additionally arrange the line-up on a pitch. That formation is stored with the match and stays visible in the log afterwards.

The live view bundles everything needed during a match: the running clock, the score, the time left in the current period and the actions for goals, cards and substitutions.
The big button always shows the next sensible step — end period, pause or stop the match. Pauses stop the clock so injury breaks do not distort the played minutes. The screen stays awake throughout.

A goal takes two inputs: the scorer and — optionally — the assist. Opposition goals are booked separately so the score is always right.
These entries become the scorer points in the statistics later: goals plus assists per player across every match.

Yellow cards, second yellows, red cards and time penalties are logged per player with the match minute. For a time penalty the app shows how long the player still has to sit out.
All cards appear in the match log and — with Premium — in the player's season statistics.

The substitution dialog lists pitch and bench side by side and shows the minutes each player has already played, so it is immediately obvious who has had little time.
Minutes continue across all periods and are part of the log after the match. For youth coaches this is the fastest route to demonstrably fair playing time.

Every player has a shirt number, a name, a strength rating and an optional position (GK, DEF, MID, FWD) shown as a short tag after the name. Players can be set to inactive when injured or away — they are kept but do not appear in line-ups or balancing.
You can run several teams in parallel, for example two age groups or a casual side.

From the active players SquadClock builds teams of equal strength at the press of a button, guided by the strength rating, with goalkeepers assigned one per team.
Handy for training matches, for tournament teams, and whenever picking sides otherwise takes longer than the match itself.

A tournament bundles several matches of one day. You define tournament teams and record the games as usual; the statistics can later be filtered by tournament.
Tournaments are part of the free base version.

Every finished match is kept with its result, scorers, cards, substitutions and played minutes. The full log can be reopened at any time.
So even weeks later you can retrace how a match went and who played how much.

The statistics evaluate all finished matches per team: matches, goals, assists, scorer points, minutes played and yellow and red cards — sortable by column and filterable by tournament.
Over a full season this shows how playing time and goal involvement are distributed across the squad. Statistics is a Premium feature.

On the tactics board you place players in two colours on a pitch, move them around and draw runs as arrows.
Made for the team talk before the match or at half-time — without a whiteboard and magnets. The tactics board is a Premium feature.

Because all data lives only in your browser, it is lost if you clear the website data or switch devices. The export writes teams, matches and tournaments into a single file on your phone.
The export is a Premium feature; importing a backup is always possible — even without an active license and on a new device.
